Last Summer,

Wikwemikong Tourism invited Six Nations to their traditional territories for their Pow-Wow and Cultural Exchange, paddling, learning, story telling and no shortage of local indigenous food made the event an overwhelming success! We were extremely grateful for their hospitality!

In the spirit of reciprocity, Tourism is excited to announce we will be hosting Wikwemikong Tourism this Fall!

And You're Invited!

The meeting of these two Nations marks a great leap into the realm of peace and cooperation and the time of the Harvest has been important to all First Nations People’s since time immemorial.

Join us for a day of learning, history and the newfound unity between Nations!

Activities Include:

 Guided Nature Walk by Kerdo Deer of Kayanase Greenhouse of the great Carolinian Forests of Six Nations.

 An Indigenous Culinary Experience by Aicha Smith of Esha’s Eats

 A Smoke Dance Ceremony featuring Six Nations Dancers

All proceeds go to expanding the influence of indigenous tourism in Ontario and beyond!
